NEVADA REGULATORS SHUT DOWN 26 LOAN MODIFICATION FIRMS

CARSON CITY (AP) — Twenty-six loan modification firms in Nevada have been told to cease operations by state regulators. The Nevada Division of Mortgage Lending says the companies have failed to obtain a $75,000 bond required under a new state law.
